Pupil Premium is designed to improve the educational experiences and outcomes of children and young people from low income families, those currently or previously in the care of the local authority or those from Service families.
In 2011-12 Financial Year St. Mary’s received £16,140 in pupil premium
The money was spent in the following ways:
- Specialist Maths intervention and support: Key Stage 4 £3,000
- Specialist Maths intervention and support: Key Stage 3 £3,000
- Specialist literacy intervention and support: Key Stage 3 £3,000
- Special Intervention: Key Stage 4 £1,000
- Reduced cost music tuition for qualifying students £675
- School Counselling Service: £9,957
