School Plus
MetroCards give young people aged 5-16 and full-time school students 16-18, unlimited bus travel in West Yorkshire at any time on any day of the week. Now, everyone aged 11 to 15 needs a Young Person's PhotoCard for half-fare travel. Metro issues School Cards and Boarding Cards for travel to and from School.
Children who are 8-16 years old and live more than 3 miles from the nearest appropriate school are entitled to free bus travel to and from school. Forms will automatically be sent to transition Year 6 parents' home address and current St. Mary's pupils will receive renewal forms via school or post dependant on the Local Education Authority.
