St. Mary's Menston is situated on the A6038 just off the the A65 from Ilkley. Based in Menston and within easy comuter distance from Leeds, St. Mary's has excellent access to public transport routes, with two nearby train stations (both  Menston and Guiseley railway stations are in walking distance of St. Mary's, served by the Wharfedale line) and strong links with bus services.

 

The school site comprises 17 acres (69,000 m²) in a semi-rural location, the site is bordered by moorland, streams and pasture. The former   High Royds Hospital (now a housing development) is opposite the school. The school has remained at the same site since 1964.
