Pupils are expected to come to school correctly attired in full school uniform. In all aspects of appearance, the aim is personal smartness; extremes of fashion are not permitted. We hope that parents will support us in realising our high expectations. All pupils (Years 7–11) are issued with a uniform card and are fully aware of how this system operates.

Uniform Notes
Trousers must be tailored, and appropriate for school wear. No fashion-style trousers ie stretch fabrics or lycra will be acceptable as school wear.
For health and safety reasons the only jewellery permitted is a wristwatch. Girls may wear a discreet sleeper or stud in each earlobe only and a neck chain.
Facial and body piercing is not allowed. Boys may not wear earrings on the school premises.
In PE, jewellery or watches are not allowed in any circumstances, for reasons of safety. Pupils must hand in such items to a member of the PE Department for safekeeping. The department accepts no responsibility for mobile phones, portable CD players, iPods or other valuable items.
Trainers should not be worn to and from school but may be worn in the playgrounds/fields.
Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
Pupils are expected to arrive at school correctly attired in full school uniform.
In all aspects of appearance the aim is personal smartness; extremes of fashion are not permitted eg unnatural hair colours and extremely short hair, including tram-lines. For health and safety reasons all pupils with long hair are expected to tie it back, out of their eyes.
Make-up and nail varnish are not allowed in Years 7 and 8. In all other years only discrete make up is allowed.
An apron is required for lessons in workshops and Food Technology rooms.
Outdoor coats must not be worn inside the school building.
Pupils are issued with a uniform card that must be carried with them at all times.
*To facilitate uniformity we have a single skirt design. The school skirt may be purchased from our three school uniform suppliers.
