Debating Society

Do you like a good argument?

Do you want to be more persuasive or confident?  Do you have strong opinions?  Can you convincingly argue the opposite of what you actually believe?  Are you interested in a career in Law or Politics?

Our debating teams offer you all this, and more.  We have two teams, one in lower school (Years 7 – 11) and one in Sixth Form.  At each session, teams set up a debate amongst themselves and battle it out to see who can articulate their arguments in the most convincing way.

Debating teams take part in competitions against local schools and events run by Leeds Trinity University College
