Diocesan Jubilee Pilgrims of Hope Banner Received

On Monday 24 February 2025, St Mary’s received the Diocesan Jubilee 2025 Pilgrims of Hope Banner from St Joseph’s Primary School, Otley. The Banner is currently on a Tour of all school’s across the Diocese and was carefully delivered by Mr Gilhooley, Headteacher at St Joseph’s and two pupils, Joseph Cowell and Beau Woodhouse. 

It was a great start to our first day back after the February half term holiday. A big thank you to Joseph Beswick (Year 9), Charlie Beswick (Year 8), Neave Johnson (Year 7), who joined me, Mrs Findlay, Mr Moran and Mr Flanagan on Monday morning. The Jubilee Banner will stay with St Mary’s until Thursday 27 February 2025 when we will transfer it to Sacred Heart Primary School in Ilkley.
