St Mary’s and the Bambisanani Partnership

Following last weeks news I am pleased to share with you the news that one of the Bambisanani partners in South Africa, KZN Cycling, has recently won the prestigious Sports Federation of the Year Award at the annual KwaZulu- Natal Sports Awards.

The Bambisanani Partnership has worked closely with the CEO of KZN Cycling. Alec Lenferna, (pictured below), over the past few years to establish a pioneering cycling project that will give 5000 young people, each year, an opportunity to learn to ride/maintain a bicycle.

This year we were able to support the Bambisanani Partnership with two visits to South Africa involving 25 of our students, in Years 11 and Year 13. The opportunities and life changing experiences it creates for our students and students in South Africa is truly amazing.
