The National Spelling Bee for Year 7s
The National Spelling Bee for Year 7s saw three of our very own Year 7s represented at the regional competition. Eve Robinson, Philippa Cowell, and Kirsty Modrzejewska all made it to the final eight French students out of nearly 1200 participants. This is a wonderful achievement for these three girls, and clearly shows the dedication our Year 7s are showing for their academics.
The competition consists of four stages with 50/100 words to learn at each stage (300 altogether). The girls should be very proud to have reached this stage in the competition. We are incredibly proud of them.
