World Book Day 2025

To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 6th March students will be listening to a special Great Big Read at the beginning of each lesson.

The theme of this Big Read is ‘What can reading do for me?’ It explores how reading is beneficial for the brain and how through regular reading you can actually change the way your brain works!

We will be also finishing our collection of books for the Children’s Book Project and a member of their team will be coming to collect the books and distribute them to children across Leeds who need them.

Y7 and Y8 will receive their World Book Day token which they can exchange it for one of the World Book Day Books 2025 or receive a £1 off a book of their choice. Why not support some of our local booksellers this year?
