Year 7 and Year 8 Easter Card Competition

The Bambisanani team are having a competition for all Year 7 and 8 students who are invited to design an Easter card. The winning design will be sent to our supporters and friends in South Africa. The winning designer will also receive a giant Lindt Easter egg. Entry is £1 which can be paid via ParentPay or given to Miss Wood (M11). All designs must be submitted by Thursday 3 April 2025. The money raised will be used to purchase some school shoes for our friends in South Africa.

During our work in South Africa we have found that a lot of the children in Kwa Zulu Natal either do not have any shoes or had shoes that didn’t fit them properly. Bambisanani has teamed up with a South African organisation that turns single-use PVC drip bags, oxygen masks and associated tubing into brand new shoes. Remarkably the shoes are produced at the cost of £1.53 (R35) a pair. By entering the competition you are half way there to providing a pair of shoes for a child in South Africa. The Bambisanani team are excited to see the wonderful Easter designs.
